CONCEPT

Daniel's work explores the dynamic relationship between nature and artistic expression. Through form and colour, he aims to capture both the essence and energy of the animal during their most captivating moments.

His approach is marked by the use of vivid colours that prioritise emotion and energy over realism.

PROCESS

Each sculpture undergoes a detailed design process that begins with initial observations and sketches of the subject. These sketches are then transformed into a hand-built clay model, which is used to create a mould.

The mould enables the production of multiple editions of the sculpture. Each edition is individually crafted using hand tools and finished with colored slip, giving it a unique character.
